Get involved with phase 3 of REMIX – starting soon!
What is REMIX?
REMIX is a YMI funded project for young music-makers in Moray aged 13-21, run by Findhorn Bay Arts… and it’s FREE!
Is this project for me?
If you are interested in making music or are already singing, playing instruments, writing songs, making beats, rapping, producing, sampling… then YES! Everyone is welcome, from beginners onwards.
What’s happening?
Coming up in February and March we have:
– online music making, collaboration and connection;
– music industry and education presentations with Q&As;
– support with funding applications (the Nurturing Talent fund is coming up!);
– online Open Mic;
– 1-1 online sessions (organisation referred)
If this is Phase 3, what were Phases 1 & 2? Good question!
In Phase 1, six professional music-makers created short inspirational video sharing some insights into their life in the music business, their skills, techniques, and their creative processes.
In Phase 2, we ran an online project to create original pieces of music and we were able hold had an actual in-person studio weekend with social distancing when restrictions lifted!
