As a Movement Director/Theatre Maker and performer Ruby has worked extensively across the generations in community and professional arts settings since 1993. With over 40 productions and creative collaborations Ruby's repertoire is rich with innovation and strengthened by long standing creative partnerships. In 2000 Ruby received a Year of the Artist Award to create "The Family Project" an inter-generational performance involving 50 local volunteer performers including family members. Ruby was the movement director for "Our Town Story" a production involving 100 teenagers from Moray that toured locally before flying to London to perform at the Millennium Dome (2000). In 2005 Ruby won a commission from Imaginate to create and tour "Hoops Hats and Acrobats" in the Edinburgh Internationals Children's Festival. Ruby has worked previously with Findhorn Bay Arts as a Movement Director for "Macbeth the Remix" (2014) and has previously led workshops with Ignite Moray Youth Arts Hub (2016). Ruby co-directed "all I have to do is dream" with the Integrated Performance Group, comprising 50 adults with additional support needs and their support workers; the show was performed as part of the Findhorn Bay Arts Festival (2016).

Ruby has a BA (Hons) Degree in Theatre, MSc. Dance Movement Psychotherapy and is a lecturer in Movement at Inverness College and a Theatre Arts Worker @ Eden Court CREATIVE.
